Please separate recyclables from trash in the bins provided in your dorm rooms. Clean recyclable materials need to be deposited in green bins and trash needs to be put in blue/brown bins. These bins are located directly outside of the halls.
If you don’t already have them, you can print and place these signs on your bins as a quick reminder of what can be recycled and what cannot:
Res Life Recycle Dorm Cards, Res Life Trash Dorm Cards can bring awareness to everyone living on campus! Please print some out for dorm front desks.
Tips:
- Instead of buying trash bags you can line your bins with used shopping bags.
- Used cardboard boxes make great recycle bins for your dorm room.
