PLEASE KEEP TRASH SEPARATE FROM RECYCLABLES
Waste and recyclables are handled a bit differently in administrative and academic buildings. It is especially important to keep wet wastes separate from recyclables in this setting. Custodial crews collect recyclables from your office or classroom and bag this material for the green bin.
Please put your recyclables in existing bins in classrooms and at your desk. Wet wastes and non-recyclable materials are to be deposited in a central waste repository on your floor’s lounge or in bathroom trash containers.
We are currently working to distribute signs to each floor of administrative and academic buildings identifying recycling bins and central wet waste receptacles. These signs are a quick-guide to what should be placed in each bin. You can print these sign here for your own space or to distribute on your floor.

but Americans produce 50 percent of the world's waste.
